South Korea definitely has always had a soft spot in my heart after moving there back in 2006. I remained living and working in Seoul up until 2018 before moving off to the Caribbean. Although most of my time was spent working in Korea, any free time I had was spent travelling around the diverse countryside, hiking its many mountains or just walking the streets close to home in the city.
A country that is rich in culture and history it was a perfect base to call home for so many years of my life.
Sungnyemun Gate is South Korea #1 National treasure with its history dating back to the 14th Century.
